About project Intradance – a large-scale project in the area of contemporary dance, which is being realized in the period of 2009-2010. In May, 2009 as the result of a competition 7 European choreographers and 7 dance groups have been chosen for participation in this project and for creation of contemporary dance co-productions in seven different Russian cities. More than 101 choreographers from 18 EU countries and 33 Russian dance companies from 11 Russian cities took parting the competition. In May, 2010 in Moscow there will be conducted Intradance festival, where all 7 co-productions will be presented for the public. Intradance is organised within the framework of the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) by the Centre Culturel Français, the German Goethe-Institut, the British Council, the Portuguese Instituto Camo?s and the Istituto Italiano di Cultura.
